ABOUT THE COMMUNITY

Meteorological and Climatological Research Society is a vocational society founded by Ondokuz Mayıs University Meteorological Engineering students in 2017. However, it was re-established in 2019 due to the transfer of the department to Samsun University.

It has 155 participants in 2021.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COMMUNITY

• To contribute to the professional development of students with technical visits and trainings in the field of meteorology,
• To ensure that students, especially Meteorology Engineering students, come together and communicate and share with each other,
• To contribute to the technical, cultural and social development of students,
• To ensure student participation in seminars, symposiums and events in the field of meteorology throughout the country,
• To enable Meteorological Engineering students to come together with the sector in the fields they can work in when they graduate,
• Ensuring university, industry and student cooperation is among the aims of the community.
