History

The Department of Meteorological Engineering, which was established in 2011 within the scope of Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, has started to accept undergraduate students since the 2015-2016 academic year. Later, it took part in Samsun University, which was established on May 18, 2018. The department produced its first graduates in June 2019.
